You want to buy that gaming item but you don’t have a credit card or bank account? Not a problem!
Aptoide offers multiple payment methods so that users can make in-app purchases—as well as Top-Ups to their AppCoins Wallets—in whichever way works best for them.
Up until now, the AppCoins Wallet already supported two local payment methods: PayTM in India, and GoPay in Indonesia. We have now added five more local payments methods!
Besides GoPay, we have now integrated OVO, LinkAja and Doku Wallet in Indonesia, and GCash and GrabPay in the Philippines.
In addition to Credit Card, PayPal, AppCoins, and AppCoins Credits, users in India, Indonesia and Phillipines can now make in-app purchases using local payment methods.
Please note that to be able to use these payment methods, users must have the AppCoins Wallet installed on their Android devices. They must also update to the latest version of the app.
Here is a closer look at all the payment methods we currently offer:
- AppCoins (APPC)
AppCoins is a cryptocurrency based on Ethereum ERC 20 tokens that allows for in-app purchases to be made within the Aptoide app store by its users, developers and manufacturers. Users can also buy and trade AppCoins using the following exchanges: Binance, Huobi, and HitBTC.
- AppCoins Credits (APPC-C)
AppCoins Credits are a virtual currency created by AppCoins that allows users, including the unbanked ones, to make online transactions such as in-app purchases. These credits can be earned by giving two minutes of your time to a game (proof-of-attention) or by spending in gaming items and receiving bonuses from such payments in the form of APPC-C – which they can then use to make more in-app purchases.
- Credit Card
- PayPal
- Local Payments
In order to give the best user experience possible, and make it easier for everyone to acquire their favorite gaming items, we have integrated the following local payment methods:
- India: PayTM
- Indonesia: GoPay, OVO, LinkAja and Doku Wallet
- Philippines: GCash and GrabPay
