Your anthill serves as the heart of your empire, providing a safe haven for your offspring to grow and thrive. Anthill management involves strategically connecting and disconnecting buildings from tunnels to conserve resources. Builder Habitats and Worker Ant Nests are prime candidates for removal from the pathway, as they have no negative effects when disconnected and consume significant resources.
While buildings cannot be moved during upgrades, using "Dig Tunnel" and "Fill Tunnel" to connect and disconnect buildings is often more effective than dragging them directly. However, some frequently used buildings, like Soldier Ant Nests, are commonly dragged instead. Strategically plan your layout, constructing tunnels and chambers to optimize resource management and defense.
Keep your colony occupied
The number of ants under your command is a reflection of your empire's strength and prosperity. One of the best habits for excelling in this game is to always keep your builders, researchers, and military buildings busy. This constant activity ensures optimal progression for your colony.

Forge Alliances
Create or join alliances with like-minded ant commanders to pool resources, share knowledge, and fight together against common enemies. An isolated player is a prime target for stronger alliances looking to destroy emerging colonies or subjugate them for resources.
However, being part of an active alliance makes potential attackers think twice, as they risk angering your allies or starting a war. Therefore, it's crucial to join a strong alliance that can watch your back, share resources, speed up construction and research.
Unlock the Power of Mutation
Hatch mutant eggs to obtain powerful special ants, leaders capable of turning the tide of battle in your favor. It's advisable to invest spores only after achieving specific criteria: ensuring all four marches consist of three orange ants, each fully maxed out (level 50 with all skills at level 10), and having at least eight ants with four stars, all maxed out (level 20). It's crucial to meet these requirements before spending spores on mutations due to their minimal impact compared to their high cost. Experiment with different combinations of soldier ants and special ants to create an unstoppable army.
Gather From the World Map
Although your colony hosts various buildings responsible for producing essential resources such as food, wet soil, sand, water, and more, their output often falls short of meeting the rapid growth demands of your hive. Therefore, it's crucial to regularly venture into the world map to locate gathering spots, dispatching your ant armies to collect resources on your behalf. These additional resources accumulate over time, providing the materials needed for continuous colony upgrades, thereby bypassing the waiting period required for production buildings to generate them.
